Congrats to the SF Science Olympiad Team
Congratulations to the Shallowford Falls Science Olympiad Team! We got 4th in the state with 65 teams represented! We won 1st in the Cobb County Science Olympiad in March. I help Mr. Puckett co-chair our team. We have many teachers and parents that help coach the 18 events--thank you for your help and dedication! We also have 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students who have a love for science on our team! Way to go!!
Bus Changes--Please Read!
STUDENT BUS PASS CHANGES!
Effective immediately, students must have a CCSD Student Bus Pass to ride a different bus home. This pass must include parent emergency information. Please come to the office in person to make bus changes for your child. The bus pass on the school website has been removed and is no longer valid. Bus drivers will turn away students who do not have the county issued bus pass provided in the front office. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks!

Field Day Info
Field Day is coming! Opening Ceremonies are on Wednesday at 1:15. This is usually only attended by the kids--it's loud and fun. Each class makes a banner and we parade in. Mrs. Wilson will signal the opening of the games. Thursday is our Field Day--from 8:15-10:45--I think that is the correct time. Parents may come and watch, but we will be playing the games. Our room moms will provide water for the kids. Please wear sunscreen and bring a hat if necessary. Sun glasses tend to fall off and get broken or stepped on. We will have some water games--make sure your child brings a change of clothes in his/her bookbag--right down to underwear and shoes. Make sure your child wears their green class shirt on Thursday--our team uniform and sneakers! Our lunch time on Thursday and Friday has changed to 11:31. Closing ceremonies are on Friday at 1:15. This again is loud and fun! This is also usually attended by the kids only. We get a certificate for good sportsmanship IF we get all our points at each event. SOOOO it is not about winning but having fun, listening, following directions and having a positive attitude. Let the games begin!!!
