Parents and Students,
What a busy first week back! With all that is going on, here are a few reminders:
1. We have a Wordly Wise 6 test next Tuesday 3/8/11. We also have a math test on Wednesday 3/9/11. The math test was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was bumped back to give the students an extra day to study. Study guides for math were given out today.
2. There will be a Science test with Mrs. Greeson on Tuesday 3/8/11 as well. She would like for you to study your Einstein and workbook.
3. Field trip permission slips went out on Tuesday. Please return your signed permission slip and payment envelope as soon as possible. Thank you!
4. Update-- due to the inclement weather, the end of the 9 week period is now Friday 3/18/11. That allows for an extra day to complete work, meet goals, and to turn in final reading/math logs. Yeah!
5. Don't forget that our "Spring Into Action" (exercise kickoff) starts next Monday 3/7/11. Fill out your forms all week and turn them in the following Monday. Also, students were given the "Field of Dreams" auction form to benefit the SF Foundation. Please make sure to show it to your parents.
5. Students will be given an informational letter about their upcoming animal project. We will assign specific animals this Friday so that each child will be aware of what animal that they will research.
